Making music during the pandemic has been extremely challenging as venues and touring have closed.  Some of the most meaningful performances have been sidewalk and backyard concerts – socially distanced shows that allow musicians to perform in front of people from a safe distance.

The Todd Marcus Quintet did a sidewalk concert in front of Marcus’ home on Independence Day weekend and will revive the format for this October 11th concert.  Neighbors are invited to sit on their steps and visitors from outside the community are encouraged to bring a chair.  All attendees must wear masks.  See a sample from the July 3 concert at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyjcwQRiPEQ
